Rhéaume Laliberté Sensei has the IYBF rank of black belt, 3rd dan. He began the study of Aikido in september 1978 at the Collège de l'Outaouais in Hull under the tutelage of Patrick Augé Sensei. He then completed his training at the Academy of Martial Arts Yoseikan in Ottawa. Rhéaume Laliberté Sensei has received first aid training and has also practiced judo, starting in 1967 in Rouyn-Noranda with the teacher Gaby Pinto Sensei. Rhéaume Laliberté Sensei has taught at the Collège de l'Outaouais in Hull and at the Academy of Martial Arts Yoseikan. He has just recently opened a new dojo in Gatineau, Quebec.
